Q: My unit has a built-in antenna. Do still need to connect the NMEA 2000 power line? (GPS PA)
Answer:
No, the internal receiver will work without it. If you wish to add other NMEA devices to your system, then that cable would need to be connected to 12volts unless you choose to power the network through a different unit or with a power node.

Q: If I have two units on an NMEA 2000 network, how many power connections do I need to make? (GPS PA)
Answer:
Each unit will require it's own power cable connected to 12volts. However, the NMEA 2000 network, only needs a power connection at one location
