Q: Is it easier to find fish with a color screen? (Sonar PA)

A color screen does make it easier to locate fish. This is because the various colors help to better define an target's density. It is easier to understand what you are seeing as opposed to seeing various shades of gray.

Answer:
If yes, then you will be able to see all of the sonar features (depth/bottom, structure, fish, etc), but you will not be able to get a temperature reading and you will have to purchase a TS-1BL temp sensor which already has the Y-cable built in. This is because the Gray Connector Unit is digital and the Blue Connector Unit is analog.
