Q: Is it easier to find fish with a color screen? (Sonar PA)
Answer: A color screen does make it easier to locate fish. This is because the various colors help to better define an target's density. It is easier to understand what you are seeing as opposed to seeing various shades of gray.

Answer: Color scales are more easily interpreted as yellow color from red and red from blue are easier to see than gray and a lighter shade of gray.

Q: How do I get data overlay data to display on a split screen? (GPS PA) (Sonar PA)
Answer: The Pages key acts as a switch between making the GPS or the Sonar side active for making changes. Once you have the desired screen active, press Menu, then Overlay Data, then Press ENT to add, then select the data you wish to display.

Answer: The depth a fish is holding cannot be determined by a sonar unit. The acronym SONAR stands for SOund Navigation & Ranging. It is only capable of marking an echo return and indicating how far away from the transducer it is located.

Answer: If yes, then you will be able to see all of the sonar features (depth/bottom, structure, fish, etc), but you will not be able to get a temperature reading and you will have to purchase a TS-1BL temp sensor which already has the Y-cable built in.
