Q: How do I remove a shoot-thru hull transducer? (Sonar PA)
Answer:
The best way is to take a flat head screw driver and carefully work the screw driver tip under the epoxy toward the middle of the transducer. Eventually, it should pop the transducer out.

Answer:
Some people prefer the shoot-thru hull type installation. A transducer shooting through a hull cannot have air between the face of the transducer and the surface of the hull.
